I make everything from Op-Docs for the New York Times, to non-profit videos with Michelle Obama, to food videos about waffles and sandwiches for BuzzFeed. Here's a taste of some of the videos I've cooked up:

Brother Orange Documentary

I directed, produced and filmed BuzzFeed's first long-form documentary based on the international news story of a lost cellphone that led to a most unlikely friendship. Ellen DeGeneres is currently developing a scripted version of the story for Warner Brothers.

New York Times Op-Ed Video

I produced and directed this short, which was featured as an Op-Ed documentary on nytimes.com about the effects " Don't Ask , Don't Tell " has on the partners of service members.

Michelle Obama's visit to Liberia

"I'm A Guy" documentary short

If Latinos Said The Stuff White People Say

This video series I developed and directed was featured in a FastCompany article naming BuzzFeed the #1 most innovative company in the world. The series also received the ultimate badge of honor for any viral video, not just one but two parodies on Clickhole!

Can You Waffle It?

Created this BuzzFeed overhead food video franchise that was featured on Good Morning America, Food Network, and Devour.

The Man's Guide To Love

Co-created themansguidetolove.com which has received praise from The New York Times, Jezebel, New York Magazine and many other media outlets for both its unique content and the design of its main page. This is one of over 700 videos that were posted daily to the site.

#140characters

This is a teaser for a non-fiction series in development which follows New Yorker writer Susan Orlean as she meets her passionate twitter followers IRL for the first time.

Pee-Wee Goes To Sturgis

As a huge Pee-Wee Herman fan, producing and shooting this video with him at the Sturgis motorcycle rally was one of the most surreal and enjoyable experiences ever.

Pies Around The World

Part of an around the world food/travel series of short videos I directed and produced along with Lynn Chen

"There's No Place Like Home" documentary short

This documentary short that I shot and directed looks at the affects of gentrification in San Francisco through the eyes of someone who experienced the rapid changes first-hand

Richard Linklater and Julie Delpy interview

I was part of the team that launched HuffPost Live Los Angeles, where I produced about 4 hours of content each week as well as many celebrity interviews — like this one with Richard Linklater, one of my favorite directors.

Creature Comforts America

I was an editor and field producer on Aardman Animation's Creature Comforts America where we collected thousands of hours of documentary audio interviews that combined with stop motion animation to create a universe of animal characters that looks and sounds much like our own.

Instafamous

This viral video is part of a series I developed and directed that examines what goes into the creation and presentation of an online persona.

Lynn Chen Bites: Taiwan

I shot and directed this episode of a travel series sponsored by the Taiwan Tourism Bureau
